Self Care Sunday YIN with Stacey

Unwind your weekend with this all-levels, slow paced meditative style of yoga. Stop and slowdown in this 60-minute grounding practice. Allow the body to soften, find ease, and release tension before starting your week again. Leave more relaxed and feel the benefits of yin yoga well beyond the mat – improved sleep, reduced stress & anxiety, increased circulation, release stored emotions, build strength and perseverance.

Get your stress out here, heal, breathe, love; this is a safe space that welcomes all community members. Walk into The Loft Yoga and Wellness Studio for a more enhanced yoga session. This class is an all-levels class, beginner friendly where you can show up with whatever Monday vibes are following you and leave them all at the door. We’ll find movement, we’ll sit with our breath and we’ll let the stress fade away.allowing ourselves to "just be" all to the beat of soulful music and moving vibes
Mat and Chat Parent and Baby Yoga and Group with Cassie

Get out of the house to enjoy a beginner friendly flow for you and your little one (recommended for parents with newborn to pre-walking babies). Our yoga class will be 45 minutes of gentle movement (for both you and baby) followed by a half hour parent group where we welcome a safe space to chat about everyday parent struggles, learn new tips and of course have a laugh. Though postnatal concerns may be brought up, fathers and guardians are graciously welcomed (and encouraged) to this group; always a safe space for breastfeeding too.
Yoga Evolve with Sarah
wednesday 7:30-8:30pm
This class is the perfect mid week pick me up. Each week we will connect with our breath and flow through a series of postures to help strengthen the muscles, open the body and release stress. You will feel both challenged by the practice and blissed out with a long savasana making it the perfect addition to your week . This is an intermediate class with some yoga experience required.
Gentle Flow with Lynn

‘Focus on the the Journey rather than the Destination’ is the theme of this class. It’s about moving gently and mindfully through yoga postures in order to find strength and ease in each pose. It’s about using the healing power of breath to help get you there. We focus on foundation, breath and movement as the fundamentals of a successful/effective Yoga practice. Gentle Flow is beginner friendly with modifications offered for those wanting to challenge/deepen/strengthen their practice.

Begin your day with intention with mindful breathing in this gentle flow class. This foundational class is perfect for beginners looking to start a yoga practice, and great for all level yogis looking to enhance or build on their practice and poses structurally. With brief intention setting for the day, a gentle wakeup flow with a focus on yoga foundations, and ending the class with a relaxation wind down, you will leave ready to take on your day. Righteous Ritual A Reclamation of Devotion in our Daily : six week women journey with Luna Slipp of Inner Invocation / Tuesday evenings beginning January 9th This is a space to alchemize selflessness into self care. A space that calls you back home into your hearts desires, a softening and listening to your own soul self. Within this journey we will work with the elements through rituals, movement, song, somatics & self inquiry. We will build our altars from the inside out, in hopes that we will REMEMBER ways of ushering the sacred into our daily lives with intention This is a journey to tend to your inner flickering flame that wants to be tended to, acknowledged and fed, by logs of your intention and attention, not a pine needle branch of a spark that quickly burns out, recalling ways of tending to your soul self. We will have an opening ceremony / ritual where we will lay out the journey, set Intentions, talk altars (inside & out) then each week we will work with a different element and have practices / rituals / prompts / song / meditation around earth, air, fire, water. The final week will be integration , celebration & closing of the journey . The hope is that through journeying in a container with other women for six weeks we can delve into our inner worlds , cultivate a daily ritual that is of our own hearts , and find our own daily rhythm that brings us into devotion and centering through connection with the elements , ourself and one another. Breathwork and Yoga with Monika

Breathwork and Yoga Inhale....exhale....move. Breathing is an automatic process that we all do without much thought. Numerous studies show that improving our breathing efficiency can profoundly benefit physical and mental well being. Breathwork exercise can not only calm and clear the mind but can also have a dramatic impact on building healthy pelvic floor function, decrease headaches, increase movement, ease aches and pains, and help with stress management. Learn to reset the body and mind through this science-based breathwork class combined with gentle yoga movement. Join this 60-minute beginner-friendly class for all levels taught by Monika, a Registered Massage Therapist.
The Wellness Session with Cassie

Experience a variety of mental, spiritual, emotional and physical wellness activities at The Loft Yoga and Wellness studio every Saturday evening from 7-8:30pm for six weeks starting January 13, 2024.
There are times in life that we can feel stuck, heavy, alone or unfulfilled… things aren’t always easy and you aren’t alone. Looking inward, this is a course for you to learn more about yourself, to obtain new life skills, coping skills and make new connections.
Here will gain knowledge around building and maintaining healthy relationships (including yourself), setting boundaries, self-care, positive body image and much more. We will be touching on different coping mechanisms such as journaling, gratitude, goal setting, relaxation, yoga and community resources.
This program promotes the health and wellness of everyone and anyone on their journey of self discovery. It encourages increased self-esteem, self-love, a sense of community and internal empowerment.
This 6 week session investment is $210. Trades of goods and services are considered. Preregistration is required as there is limited space available. Included in your session is a workbook with said material and other related information, a journal, a gift and a sense of connection with others in our welcoming safe space; The Loft Yoga and Wellness Studio.
Yoga Flow Basics with Monika
Monday 5-6pm
Yoga can be practised by anyone, no matter their fitness level or experience. This class is ideal for anyone new to yoga or to those interested in reviewing the fundamentals of yoga postures. You will be taught common yoga poses offering modifications to support various body types. Props such as yoga blocks, blankets and bolsters will be used to help make the variations easier. Basic pose sequences will be built upon to add more length, strength, and challenge to the flow.
Chair Yoga with Monika
Tuesday 11am-12pm
In this class yoga postures are modified so they can be performed either while seated or with the aid of a chair. No one will be getting up and down off the floor. This class appeals to people who work at a desk all day long or those with mobility issues due to age, injury, chronic conditions, and anyone at any fitness level can benefit from taking this class. The yoga postures invite awareness and integrity into the body and may help with improved muscle tone, sleep, balance, flexibility, breathing patterns, as well as reduce stress.
